I don't really think she's a serious contender for leader of the free world but you shouldn't dismiss her as a symbol of grassroot political groundswell

There is nothing particularly wrong with Sarah Palin, assuming you do not have an aversion to conservative ideals. If you do have an aversion to conservative ideals than it most likely doesn?t matter.

Sarah Palin herself in my opinion is under qualified to be president; though she did have more executive experience than President Obama did before he took the office of the presidency. So the jerry is still out on whether executive experience is a necessity to the job.

Most of the bad press Palin has gotten comes from a highly sexist attitude toward politics; and she is not the first woman politician to be snowballed in this manner. The fact that she was a conservative woman simply made it that much worse, as the left has an uncanny predisposition to attack conservatives/republicans when they dare usurp traditionally liberal soap boxes.

It's really a shame when most people remember Palin's bid for vice president for what Tina Fey said rather than what the woman said herself. But such is the state of affairs in the world; we have a long way to go before real equality is achieved.

On her own merits Palin is too conservative minded to garnish my support;

and I think it would be a mistake for the Republican party to put her forth as their 2012 presidential candidate. While the treatment she received was sexist and wrong, the damage has already bend done and she is not electable.
