Yep thanks for info. My two cents: I'm not sure that there's anything for me to get excited about this year, which is a little disappointing.

I've got three words for you, OJ:
Used book stores.
Two more:
They rock.

I got a few words too. I already cleaned out every used book store in Dunedin of DS9 books -- except for one I think still has a copy of "Bloodletter" because I've already had that one. And another in Wellington with a shelf and a bit full of Star Trek books -- (I bought five there) -- and another couple in Canberra. At one I found about ten books and my mum confirmed her belief that her daughter is a lunatic and I responded with "You play Farmtown". Actually it's not that sad really because I still have some unread books at home and when the Powers That Be aren't coming up with something I get excited about then I just turn to other places on the internet and such.

Only in my case I'm telling my mom, "You play Sudoku." Kind of cool we're scouring used book stores on opposite sides of the world for the same thing.

^ My mum plays Sudoku also. I used to play Sudoku for a while and then it got a bit boring once I had it all figured out. I'm not going to cry about the schedule being a little disappointing -- there are other places I can go to find the stuff I like.

is Destiny series and Typhon Pact supposed to be the same universe as the DS9 and Voyager relaunch series or is it something completely different?

Yes the books take place in the Tng,Ds9,Voyager universe. But you get flashbacks in the Destiny books to Erika Hernandez and the Columbia Crew from the Enterpise series.the reast of the story takes place in TNG,DS9,Voyager universe. Singular Destiny by KRAD deals with the Borg aftermath and deals with the forming of the Typhon pact and the problems it will cause the Federation. The next miniseries will deal the different aliens invovlved in the Typhon pact the Gorn, Romulans, Tzenkethi.
