I want everyone to listen to that, whether you like him or not.  Just give Rush these seven minutes and consider his words.

Really?

Why should ANYONE give that America hating piece of shit any time??

The fact that you would call him that leads me to assume you haven't given him the time.

Besides, any time you call someone such hateful things, you should at least listen to see if you are correct about them.  How can you hate someone with such a passion and not listen to them at all?  How do you know you really hate them?

I have listen to Rush Limbaugh for a few years. Nothing that he says is worthy of my attention at this time.

I'm not a fan of Rush or Hannity for that matter. They tend to take it over the top, so they lose my respect. However, I think what Rush had to say here has a lot of Merritt and appreciate you posting it, Yanks!

I'm not a fan of Hannity either.  The guy is just a talking head.  Rush is far more entertaining.

I think the big difference between the two is their attitude when they debate - Sean is dismissive, screaming over people and not letting them speak.  He seems to be angry that someone out there doesn't agree with him, and he feels there is no better option than to attack.

Rush on the other hand, seems to love it when someone disagrees with him.  He revels in the chance to debate and treats his opponents with respect.  Even when there is a screaming match and name-calling, he always ends it with a thank you and a complement for having the guts to take him on.

I think that's the big difference; Sean hates that people disagree with him, Rush loves having someone to debate with.

I was never really a fan of either but Hannity really turned me off during the Terry shivo incident and then even more during the Runaway bride thing saying to people who said they would divorce her marriage is suppose to be through the good and the bad when this woman couldn't even handle the "stress" before the wedding.  He also continued to refer to her as a girl when she was 32 YEARS OLD.  I don't get to listen to Rush much as he is on during BOORTZ the best radio host ever ;)

I have never found Rush all that interesting to listen too. I listened to the link though, found it interesting and I even agree with a lot of it.
The thing about Obama has always been what other people thought of him. He spends an inordinate amount of time addressing his thoughts and feelings about Rush and Hannity to American public.
Maybe using his time more constructively (two wars, bad economy, healthcare - I think as the President his time could be put to better use) I could think of Obama in a better light, at least then I know he at least tried instead of throwing up his hands and saying...well, Rush hates me.

I find it interesting that Rush is trying to place all of this countries problems on President Obama and that his responsibility to fix everything.

I really find Rush offensive in almost every aspect. He is a typical Republican that has to always place the blame on someone else instead of trying to do something about the problem.

Um...  He's the president.  It is his responsibility to fix everything.

I find that true from both sides. So far, Obama has used those exact same tactics, and I seem to remember lots of Democrats passing the buck off on Bush on everything from Global Warming to both Wars, to the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby (okay that last one was sarcastic but you get the point).

Rush Limbaugh is an embarassment. Rush Limbaugh is always lashing out in all directions. Rush Limbaugh does not tolerate dissent. Rush Limbaugh is not one of our founding fathers.

Obama made no "thuggish" denunciation of the Supreme Court.

The economy of this country was sent into the tank by the policies of the previous adminstration. Obama is trying to fix those problems.

Stimulus spending is needed to reverse te econmoic problems we face.

Rush Limbaugh certainly seems to be in a bad mood.

Banks, insurance companies and lobbyists certainly have an inoridinate influence over congress, both of Democrats and Republicans.

Fox news has made it abundantly clear that it is hostile to the Obama administration.

The Supreme Court is dominated by a 5 to 4 majority of partisan minded conservative justices who wish to impart citizen rights on corporations. Alito's mothing of the words "not true" was a break in the normal precedent of Supreme Court Justices sitting silently with no expression while listening to the State of the Union speech. His remark related to a recent bit of judicial activism that matches or perhaps goes far beyond any activism exerted in the past by liberal activists. This is certainly news worthy.

Rush Limbaugh certainly has an attititude.

Rush Limbaugh inspires nobody.

Obama was elected to be president, not Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaughs "lecture" certainly shows how full of himself that he is. It is time people stop papering over Limbaugh's faults.

Some more for you idiot Obama-ites

Ummm....Obama has been president for one year, not two. Bush was president for one of the last two years. Any problems you have with the presidency of the last two years are at least fifty percent that of George Bush.

The lack of bi-partisanship in Washington is more the fault of Republcians than anybody else. The continued lies that they spread, their inability to ever tell a straight story, their uncompromising attitude on health care reform, their threats to filibuster anything that does not meet with their full agreement, all of these things are the sign of a party not interested in negotiations or compromises. It is they, and the coroporate interests who once supported them, who continue to stand in the way of reforms needed to turn this country around.

Yes, Obama has failed to deliver on some of his promises. He has not been perfect, but he has been a breath of fresh air in comparison to his Republican predecessor

Yeah, no kidding. :eyesroll:

I just find it really funny that he did exactly what Rush is accusing Obama of doing.  I'm beginning to wonder if he's just a conservitive plant.
