Currently airing : 4Corners Foreign Correspondent 7:30 Report My Family The IT Crowd Doctor Who Torchwood Red Dwarf Black Adder SGA , I'm yet to decide if I'm going to be a SGU fan. Midsummer Murders any historical or natural history documentary series LateLine and LateLineBusiness
I often listen to ABC Radio's 24 Hr News Station.
Note the lack of american ?siccoms or of american cop shows, or comic based series (Heroes etc) and of reality TV and competition programs.
My wife likes Home and Away (a local soap) and Dancing With Stars and got sucked into Lost.

Ah .... I like the ABC cooking shows .... I'm a dab hand in the kitchen and sometimes try out the recipies I see Nigella , and the Cook and the Sheft do. Landline Cook and the Chef The Food lovers guide Gardening Australia have been favourates for years. I'm also a diehard ABC news follower .... I was very disappointed that Hornblower didn't continue. Catalyst is also a favorate , so is the New Inventors , Compass , Media Watch . Our TV spends most it's time turned into ABC1, ABC2. SBS1 or SBS2 and hardly ever goes to the commercial networks , mind you I'm watching a John Wayne Western right now .... they are always worth watching , Jacky Chan movies are good too. Nice to meet another ozzy. ¿I hail from Newcastle. But I'm a bushy at heart and can't get enough of more remote and isolated spots , especially if the fishing is great. I loath Sydney and Melbourne , Brizzy is nice , so is Perth , I wouldn't mind living in Darwin , that would be my pick of capitals as liveable places with that layed back lifestyle that's so appealing.

I'm only half an aussie, the other half is kiwi; don't hold it against me? I've lived here for a longtime, lived in Sydney for a few years; I presume you worked at the BHP metal works there at New Castle. I met a few of the knights league boys in the early 90's. Michael Hagen is a really nice person. LOL.. Beccs, Zero, mirrorgirl, KathleenMarie are in Oz also. Nice to meet you and welcome aboard.
