I just got mad at the second season one with Chris Sarandon and the gambling toy.   A few diverting moments, but the pathetic attempt to technobabble the concept of "luck" into something real and "scientific" really ticks me off.

"Rivals".

The b-story with Bashir and O'Brien having racquetball contests was good. Just no pleasing O'Brien is there? You win, he hates you. You let him win, he hates you. You quit the game because he's making it no fun any more, he hates you and complains about it to Quark.

I like Babel and Storyteller. Both were fun. ^_^ ...I even don't mind Move Along Home. Can't tell you why. Because I don't know.

I am going to add "Profit and Lace" and "Valiant". I didn't like those either.

'Whispers' didn't really sit well with me as a strong DS9 episode -- granted, it was still early in the series and they were still setting the tone of the show, but that particular episode just meandered and didn't work from a dramatic standpoint.

It would have been much more fascinating if they had explored just *why* the O'Brien duplicate was sent to disrupt the conference -- political intrigue of that level, that early in the series, would have created a benchmark for later stories.

As it was, it was a vague premise with no direction and very little payoff in the end.  Quite disappointing, even for a newly-established series.

Oh My Giddy Goodness! One of my favourite episodes of Season Two ~ so well paced and with a brilliant twist ~ Not to mention that's possibly my favourite non-Bashir episode and easily one of the better early ones.

Not to mention I think it might have been the episode that showed on the telly on the DAY when I made the decision to start going out in search of DS9 dvds.

I don't avidly dislike any episodes, but if I had to choose, it'd be "Things Past", it was sort of... odd.

DS9 is my favourite trek show but its got its set of bad episodes but no more then the rest.one of the worst episodes for me was from season 1 "The Passenger" El Fadil is ask to portray bashir as a ruthless killer.he was awful but made up for this in excellent episodes like "Our Man Bashir"
