I haven't seen St:Insurrection for some time, but did something happen to Data's emotion chip in that movie?

It's just that he seemed very "old-Data-ish" in Nemesis.

Nothing happened to his emotion chip. He didn't take it with him when he went to observe the Ba'Ku, and while he sustained some damage, nothing was made of him losing emotion. I thought he seemed more human in Nemesis.

For instance, when he tells B-4 goodbye, when he asks Geordi to accompany him before he boards the Schimitar, all of this is done with a great deal of emotion. Old Data didn't understand. He had a look of puzzlement or a blank expression when he did something that impressed his human counter-parts. Everything else was emulation and that led to a lot of furrowed brows and a few laughs throughout the show's run. Old Data was nowhere to be found in Nemesis.
