I recently bought the 7-season box set and am enjoying many of my old fav episodes. I'm having trouble finding one about someone going for promotion who struggles with the idea of sending a crew member to certain-death. I can't even remember whose struggle it was. Any help is appreciated

it's Deanna, going for command rank, she doesn't want to send a crew to die, but finally figures out to be in command that's exactly what you have to do and in the end she does it, in the test that is.
