I really like Wil. I follow him on Twitter and he's always tweeting something interesting. I really love that even though the series is long over he still enjoys immersing himself in the Trek universe. He writes some great articles as well. Good guy. Has a nice family too.

I dont understand his hatred for the actor. ¿ Any stories I should be aware of? |
He was involved in a nasty incident during his run on TNG which many people think was the real reason behind his departure. Messy business. Not many people know about it but it is the reason everyone hates him but doesn't know why. |

Yum Yum Yum Tasty I'm so glad someone asked, thanks for the food. Well, according to sources... Lines between actor and actress. mother and son were blurred on the set of Paramount's Star Trek:The Next Generation when principal cast members Wil Wheaton and Gates McFadden (who play mother and son Wesley and Beverly Crusher) were caught in a comprimising position by co-star Marina Sirtis. While Marina would not go into detail regarding what she saw, she did say that she believed the relationship to be "innappropriate", given the age of Wheaton and the position of trust that McFadden is in. Producers say that they will write Wheaton's character out of the show in order to protect him from potential penetration. |

I agree with this. I also follow Wil on Twitter and he does seem like a pretty good and interesting guy. |

re: story about ww and gm -- whatEVER. kind of a barry-williams-florence-henderson thing - - again whatEVER.
i think WW is great. my oldest son is a sci fi nerd and gives off much the same vibe ww does, so i'm predisposed to really like ww.
the woman whose husband screams "d o u c h e b a g" whenever he sees wheaton on an old TNG episode, should take him aside and tell him about osama bin laden, ted bundy, and a few other people who deserve derision.

I actually didnt mind Wes. I had a wicked huge crush on him when I was a boy and so I can't bring myself to say anything bad about him. If that rumor about he and McFadden were true I suspect that Paramount would have fired McFadden due to liability issues. I work in social services, so that's just my opinion.

LOL I couldn´t care less about what the actors get up to. I´d have a problem with it if they´d do that on screen, as Wesley and Dr. Crusher, but IMHO their private life is of no concern to the characters I like.
But I agree with mjmr - if it were true, it would have made far more sense for them to get rid of McFadden. She´s the adult, she´s supposed to know better.
Conclusion: probably just some glossy magazine rumour that didn´t have enough copy.
If there is nothing wrong with me, then maybe there´s something wrong with the universe? -Dr. Crusher

I think Wesley is a great character and Will is a great person. I've said this so many times I've made myself mentally hoarse from writing it so many times! ;-)
