These are the 10 I think are really poor characters. This isn't "who's the biggest doooosh bag"...it's literally "Which 10 Characters are most UNAPPEALING / USELESS / IMPROPERLY DEVELOPED / OUTRIGHT ANNOYING"

In no particular order:

1. Kes
2. Neelix
3. Lwaxana Troi
4. Travis Mayweather
5. T'Pol
6. Dr. Crusher
7. Alexander
8. Wes Crusher
9. Sela
10. Dr. Pulaski

Some things I'm surprised at:

1. Kira gets several mentions. I'm absolutely shocked. I am watching DS9 right now, and am about 1/3 through the 6th season. I consider Kira to be one of the best Trek characters ever written.

2. Miles O'Brien also shocks me. In a franchise filled with extraordinary characters, O'Brien is probably the best example of the "everyman." He had a deep amount of character development, an interesting dark side, and was probalby the most realistic portrayal of a family-oriented person in the entire franchise. I think people forget that his UNIQUENESS is in his familliarity.

i don't believe that any character in trek were bad, as they all had an esential part to play in the overall saga. Granted some were not as nessesary as others were, but they were all still essential.

Ensign mayweather(most token black guy of all the treks cleary there to meet headcount even more underwritten than levar burton)
Ensign yoshi( alright character simply unconvincing acting/writing)
TPol( alright in general, but super boring to be a core character/ and cheap writing of her to draw men was lame, no integrity at all.)
Archer( he was so annoying the guy got by as being a Gbush, wreckless, never listens to his support, and got by on daddy's acomplishments.)
Trip(I like the character but being stuck with him Tpol and Archer was torcher. Clearly the most dry uninteresting trio in all of star trek.
Leu Reed( Boring dry writing clearly a bad stereotype of some WW2 Brit.
Chatokay (not a bad character but along side Janeway, he just seemed flimsy wooden, with nothing but cheesy shaman stories.)
Janeway( got to give her credit well written and solid acting, but she simply reminded me too much of my aunt.)
Riker( not a bad character but I gotta pick someone from TNG and I got no good memories of him, just a total stiff)
Kai Winn ( again solid acting and such, but I wished they cloned/killed her multiple times)
