The Motion Picture, Director's Cut. If I broaden the selection to include any of the TV shows, I'll never make a choice and just be stuck in a continuing cycle of "but no, this other one has...".

^  Me too!  That way I would be well rested because it would guarantee that I would fall asleep early each and every night.

TOS Season 3 Remastered Disc 3

The Tholian Web
Plato's Stepchildren
Wink of an Eye
The Empath

Among my VERY favorite eps are:

Amok Time
Mirror, Mirror
The Tholian Web
The Empath

Good choices!!

I just watched Season 3 Disc 3 today

The Tholian Web - tense
Plato's Stepchildren - confronting
Wink of an Eye - interesting
The Empath - powerful

TMP Director's Cut. It would remind me of how happy I was that Trek had made a triumphant return.

I would probably choose TVH (IV) because it makes me laugh, and wouldn't you need to laugh if you were trapped on an island?

You may need to laugh if you thought the island depressing. I'm trying to figure out a way to get trapped on a tropical island myself. Star Trek would probably be fourth on my list, right behind a woman, some rum, and my guitar. If the woman turned out to be a Trekkie than everything would be perfect, because we could talk about Star Trek.
