If they do go with Khan, my vote is for Taran Fahir.

He was awesome as Captain Robau, he'd be off the chart as Khan.

:logical:

that'd be cool.

i dunno if yo watch lost but this guy would be awesome as well.

The only reason why they'll do Khan again is because the writers are too lazy to come up with anything original and because of Hollywoo'd moto:

WHERE THERE'S FAMILIARTY, THERE'S MONEY

Besides, if Khan will be the villian for the next movie, then it will be a remake movie of "Space Seed"

This is how it'll go

The enteprise is exploring space when they discover SS Botany bay driting throguh space and they rescue it's crew, inlcuding Khan who takes a grudge against Kirk and decides to kill him and hi jack the enterprise and then Kirk and Spock and the rest battle against Khan

Also, if they will bring back Khan, then the set inside Botany bay will have to be the same as the one in "Space Seed"

Also, when Kirk and the crew discover Khan and his group of supermen asleep in Botany bay, they will have to dressed exactly the same as they were in "Space Seed"

I'm adverse to seeing Khan in the next movie. I'd rather they go in a totally new direction.

BUT...if they are going to do it...that would be the guy to go with. He's awesome, and he'd most likely change my "no Khan" attitude very quickly.

Could be done I suppose.... Yet I do NOT  want to see KHAN v2.0 thank you very much. Maybe something along the lines of the Enterprise Incident might be cool if they are just gonna remake the classics.

You're right Ali the only reason George Lucas kept using Darth Vadar is because he was too lazy to write about another villain. :eyesroll:

How dare these writers use the most popular villains that the fans enjoy seeing!!  :eyesroll:

You can count on them changing the date of the Eugenics Wars as well if they do reuse Khan. We are past the mid-90's and there were no Eugenics Wars in sight.

The Nestor Carbonell as Khan rumor has been debunked.

RE the Eugenics War, they either don't mention dates, change the dates or don't mention the Eugenics War entirely. A "Less is more" approach.
Other than that I say bring on Khan!

Good. It didn't look right to me.

As for Khan in the next film...I too am among those who want to see a totally different direction.

I personally want to see the Tholians. :logical:

I know that, but I wouldn't put it past these guys to change the dates of the Eugenics Wars.

I forget where the dates for the Eugenics Wars confused in Star Trek before? Maybe during Deep Space Nine? I remember reading this but then they were fixed again with Enterprise?

Yeah, there was an episode of DS9 where the date of the Eugenics Wars were  messed up, but Ron Moore admitted he made a mistake.
Which is more that can be said about Orci and the Delta Vega mess up.
