At the very beginning, when Captain Robau walks onto the bridge of the Kelvin he has a Starfleet insignia on his uniform (you can see it when he orders the viewwindows polarized). When he sits down and faces toward the viewwindow...look quick... There's no insignia on his chest. Oops!!

I actually noticed it when I saw it the first time in the theater. Mistakes like these are very common in all movies.

A couple of month back I pointed out every flaw in TWOK. So in the end TREK XI has many flaws as does any of the other TREK movies.

Yes this is true. For fun I like to look at all the goofs there are many listed on the imdb pages for Star Trek movies!
