Star Trek Winona Kirk's Nurse was a freaky Alien!

I was browsing some screen shots when I saw these pics of Winona Kirk's nurse from the Kelvin. I had forgotten she was an alien. But being only a slight departure from human she just looks very odd. I do think it is a cool look.

Yes I think she is kind of pretty! You are right she is not a far departure from a human so we must wonder how this occurs? I would like to know why there are many human looking aliens in Star Trek or if there is probably no in universe explanation. I think it is mostly because this is a show made for humans. I like seeing the aliens in this movie because it feels more out of this world!

See the TNG episode "The Chase"...it is revealed that many of the major humanoid races in Trek have a common ancient ancestral race...
