Manticore is in orbit around Oppo, to see why it has gone silent to the Federation.  Our landing party was taken captive by a robotic enemy called the "Network," and has been separated into one group for data storage and one for "the farm."  After the Fleet I.G. ordered the ship to leave the team behind and return home ASAP, A9 had Garn disable the ship's engines.  The two of them took the Chimera to the surface, found the Network's central core and the Manticore crew connected there.  Garn protected A9 from a robot attack and then A9 fought off their attackers and carried Garn to safety and transport back to the ship.  Science found that Hydrogen Dioxide (H2O2) will penetrate the native alloy and the fighters are being fitted with H2O2 cannons for a return to the planet.

The USS Manticore is an advanced simulation sponsored by the Star Trek Simulation Forum. Although play is restricted to pre-assigned crew members who have graduated from Starfleet Academy, all are welcome to come watch.
