Ignoring the majority of these posts...
I find it interesting that the design from the book does not quite match the design used in the Kobayashi Maru sequence. Personally, I'm glad Abrams and company decided to ditch the extra "guns" on the hull and proceed with a look that more closely matched the old D-7/K'tinga-class.

That's the problem. They DO "wish to complain about it."
I could post all the complaints/comments/themes that that get posted here about the new Star Trek movie in just this quick post:
Not "real" Star Trek
Gene would hate this / roll over in his grave
It's not a TNG movie
It's not a fanwanky combo TNG, DS9, VOY movie
I hate the Enterprise exterior
I hate the Enterprise interior
I hate Kirk, he acts like a fratboy
It looked like Spock's lip had red blood on it
JJ Abrams said things I didn't like / spat in our faces
They didn't care about the fans
Too much action
Too much special effects
Uhura's skirt was too short
Checkov's hair and age weren't right
Scotty acts like a dolt on jolt
Spock and Uhura have a relationship
I hate the alternate universe
Delta Vega isn't right
No high-meaning message or moral / not "intellectual" enough
iBridge
iTrek
The Enterprise is too big
Ultimately:
I didn't get what I wanted
I mean, seriously, I think we've heard it all. I REALLY do. Why the same 4-5 people have such an insecurity / inferiority complex that they need to keep repeating themselves over and over again is absolutely beyond me. It's almost incomprehensible. |

Complaining about the complainers - that's YOU - is not helping anything either. Lately, you've gone on overdrive with it.
YOU HAVE to accept several people don't like nuTrek and WILL come here to vent their problems with the film, whether you like it or not. You have to let it go man, and move on. Really, make peace with it. They aren't going away. |
Oh jeez man, complaining about the complainers who are complaining... Can't you let one enough alone? It's getting so many layers down that I can't figure out what we're even talking about? |

Actually there are some continuity mistakes in Enterprise, at least 1 I'm sure of. Althou its not a major one. |

Actually there are some continuity mistakes in Enterprise, at least 1 I'm sure of.

There are only 2 errors in Enterprise that I heard of. It is the distance to Quonos in the first episode and also a year that was wrong in a later episode. I cannot remember what it was but Manny Coto acknowledged it in a web chat and it is nothing major.
