It seems the FX people are the ones who altered his original designs.

See this last post is proof that Wkd doesn't come onto the movie boards to flame people. Take that Zero.

Leave poor Zero alone. He just wants to express his humble opinion. You know, people are entitled to an opinion. There are TONS of people who don't like the new movie (billions and billions), and they are being repressed and persecuted by evil and heartless JJ Abrams thugs. Zero is but a lone white knight in a sea of darkness that this new movie has created. He stands for all that is good in "REAL" Star Trek. And, he's a good egg too. Mature, thoughtful, and open-minded. He handles conflict with grace and good measure. Go have a toffee, PC!!!

Well, I like them both but I do like the shape of the windows on the bridge on this one.

This is very interesting SaturnRings thank you for posting! I never saw this picture before. I feel the same as Joker2Thief because I like the design but I also like what it became for the movie. This drawing is very good.

Now... look who is turning every XI threat into a flame war... Interesting concept. I like the approach. The original Kelvin Design (someone posted it here a few weeks ago) did also look very interesting and clearly inspired by TOS. I got used to the movie version of the Enterprise. But I still think that they should have gone with the earlier Kelvin prototype that looked more in line with TOS.

I wonder if they could have just combined the TOS and TMP Enterprise's into one? I like the new design but I was thinking if they used the outside of the TMP Enterprise and say had the warp engines and nacelles of the old TOS Enterprise?

If you think comming to a friends defense when someone falsely accuses them of something is flaming, then whatever. Then again, coming from someone that will pass on a great video game because he's bitter about a movie, i would expect that opinion. EDIT: funny how i never even mentioned STXI, you did, but i didn't.

Y'know, that Enterprise does have possibilities to it. ¿It's just for some reason it doesn't work well with those pylons/nacelles. ¿But it's on the right track, the nacelles aren't so ####ed close together at least.

I do like this better, but I wouldn't mind seeing it side on to check the proportions. |
It looks like something from the 40ies or 50ies...

I have to say, that the ship looks really nice. But, I don't like the nacelles. I prefer the ones in the film. I actually prefer the final ship However, like in the Star Trek DAC game, I like the spread of the nacelles. That's one thing i'd change for the next film.
