Yeah, as I said...the tears in Kathryn's eyes, barely held back, when Tuvok quietly told her Telek died....One of the things that drew me to her, was that she, after the initial internal dialogue(Ergo Captain's Log)  had about whether or not to keep a distance from her crew(I know, this isn't really the Janeway thread), Janeway decided to be more open to them, than would she had they never been stranded. She became unafraid to let her guard down,as she did with Kes in ''Tuvix''. Call me a sloppy sentimentalist, but I love that about her, how she became so close to the others. I really do feel closer to them, than any crew. The premise  of the series just opened up the door for it. I'm not really overly analytical about any of my Treks, that's just me. I know what I like, and why, and it's at basic enough.

''If I were captain, i'd open every crack in the universe, and peek inside, just like Captain Janeway does''-Kes, ''The Cloud''

This was one of the best episodes in Season 1, but I didn't think much of Voyager Season 1. Season 2 onwards was alot better.

I didn't like Scott as the captain of the Enterprise.  I feel he is too soft-spoken to be a leader.  He should ressurect his '80's show and make more "Quantum Leap" surprises.  I was very disappointed by the episodes I saw.  No real character drama.  No character development;  No chemistry.  Boring plots.

Believe it or not, I didn't realize there was a Season 2 and so on.
