Star Trek So, which Star Trek movie is the worst?

I like them ALL - warts and all. Each one has something to offer.

However, the Trek film that I can never really get into is TMP - too slow and sterile for me. I love the music of that film though, so it's not a complete waste.

I'm not sure if "worst" is the best word but I disliked TMP the most.

I never really liked the first film.

I'm sure if you looked hard enough you'd find someone who didn't like TWOK.

As for me, I enjoyed it, but after the depth and intelligence that we saw in TMP (my fave so far) TWOK did feel a bit shallow.

I can't vote on the rest because I haven't seen them all yet...but out of the ones I have seen, my least favourite (although it's not a bad film) has been TSFS.

TWOK would probably not even get a single vote MS.

And yeah, you're probably right that nobody would call it the worst.

I guess I'm just a TMP fan who's sick of TWOK always stealing all the glory!

I really was not keen on TMP it was very much of an era similar to 2001, space 1999 and that sort of thing. Things happen too slowly and the uniforms look quite frankly awful. Having said that, TMP is not bad its just the worst of a good bunch

I really do like them all! Not one reaches the level of "hate" for me. But to vote for my least favorite I would go with Nemesis because Data's death is very sad and this movie leaves me feeling a bit sad unlike all the others.

I am primarily a TOS fan so I like them the most and TMP is near the top of my list. I also do know so members here do not like TWOK at all.

Probably what would have been most appropriate for most people would have been "like just that little bit less than all the others"

That is why I have not voted. Hate is too strong of a word. I can watch any Star Trek movie and enjoy them despite their flaws and in my opinion all of them have some flaws and that's alright with me.

Of all my media, ST:TMP is in the best condition.

That was my means of selection. I could go make dinner during the "Ride To Enterprise" scene and not miss a thing. My wife has a standing caveat, "Any movie but the first one, or I'll have to blow my brains out."

I don't hate it, but I rarely pick it.
