So I rarely come to these boards recently... and when I do drop in on occasion I like to think I am respective to posters and post relevantly in topics... but, apparently yesterday I received this message...

"You have been warned by a staff member. Your warning level has been increased, and this will be viewable to all members. Once you have reached the maximum warning level, your posting permissions will be revoked.
You have been warned from the following post: http://boards.startrek.com/communi....5997480

test training "

Now, the link is to the front page of the Ten Forward Cartoons thread... which has been pinned for years... and the first post has been the way it has for several months... and apparently... I am just now getting a warning about it... I'm completely puzzled by this... I have gone through and read the entire post and it all seems to be in order with nothing offensive... so my question is... why the warning? ¿:(

I tried replying... but it didn't have a name or anything to send it to... and I'm rarely around... I wouldn't know where to start contacting an admin... but, I didn't see anything wrong with making a thread about it...  :rookie:

Looks like someone went in and reported the OP of your thread, either a spammer or someone asking for it to be unpinned. Admin doesn't pay much attention to what is reported before those notices are sent out.

Ah... that's the kind of response I was looking for that an admin wouldn't have told me... :p

I wouldn't really mind if it were unpinned... but I would like to start it back up if time permitted...

Just out of curiosity is it written anywhere on these boards how to contact the administration if you have a problem, other than to hit the Report button? How would we know about that email addy, for example, if Starbase didn't just post it?

The Guidelines thread used to be on all the boards, it's only on the Website Board now:

http://boards.startrek.com/communi....3184244

It's in that thread.

:logical:

OK. Thanks, Starbase. :)
