My honest opinion, I think Vin Diesel can portrary Captain Picard better than Patrick Stewart. Â¿Not saying Patrick did a great job, but Vin Diesel can really bring Picard to life. Â¿He can play a 52 year old Picard (without any make-up) - this would show that people in Star Trek looked younger than they were, better medical practice. Â¿In Star Trek, you can be 80 years old and look 50, it is that simple. Â¿Vin Diesel can pull off this role and yes, he will have the hair in the beginning sequence with Jack Crusher (Paul Walker) because Picard used to have hair. Â¿And then he will be bald - he can make Captain Picard a super hero instead of some boring guy running his jaw and putting people to sleep in the briefing room (and those watching the show on TV).

He walks in, tugs down on his uniform and sits down. Â¿Binds his fingers together, looking around the silent room at his crew then simply pounds his fist and says "Lets go kick their " Â¿ Now this Captain Jean-Luc Picard is what everyone wants to know. Â¿Patrick Stewart, you're a good actor but leave it to somebody who can really bring out the actor in an action film.

This is pure madness...

Is a miracle going to occur which will transform something which sounds totally ridiculous into something of quality?
