You know, for the longest time I couldn't stand Wesley Crusher. He was such a Mary Sue (annoyingly perfect).

However, now I understand that the significance of Wesley was not actually the character himself, but the characteristics he brought out in those around him.

He's still irritating, though.

This is the TNG board. All choices should include TNG kids, but you included Voyager. Perhaps this should've been posted in the GENERAL ST DISCUSSION board.

The topic was started in a another convo without a vote.

I was trying to draw the attention of the other convo's participates to vote here.

I decided to make it general about some of the main actors.

However it is Next Gen related sense 3 of the options are from Next Generation.
