Well, my family gave ourselves a Christmas present and ordered seasons 1 - 7 of Voyager. It's one of the only shows that everyone loves and will sit down together and watch.

We got tired of trying to record from Spike's erratic programming, and I have to say that watching it from the beginning again is turning out to be even better than I thought.

Also - it's nice to see that there is still a community of Star Trek fans still going strong - have a great day.

I just got done watching Voyager all the way through. ?I work for myself so I can usually do an entire series in about a month.

That's about 6 episodes a day! Wow!

Welcome to the boards!!!

Thanks.

It's not that hard to do when you work as much as I do.  It really helps to pass the time because it's entertaining, yet I don't have to give it my undivided attention like I did the first time since I already know what happened.

I have been thinking for a number of minutes now and have come to the difficult conclusion that my favourite VOY episode of all is... Author, Author.

So who did you like, 1 of 3 or 2 of 3? ¿

Lieutenant Marseilles was just hilarious! It makes makes me chuckle just thinking of the moustache.

*ahem* MrsStarbuck reporting for Voyager duty! ;)

I do want to finish the other series's...I've just been so busy since the new year that I haven't found time to watch anything at all...no TOS, no VOY... :(

I am going to make every effort to recommence my viewing schedule this weekend :)

I just started watching "Voyager" again from the beginning, introducing a 15-year old newly-minted Star Trek fan to the show.  The first season has held up really well and I'm finding I have an affinity for the characters that I don't remember having before.

However, I remember during season 7 just waiting for the end so I wonder how much of that was just general malaise about Star Trek or about the show specifically.

Is this where everyone's been hiding out? is it just me or is the VOY board just full of A-Z games.

Hopefully Mrs Starbuck will start posting her episode reviews and get this place going again. :)

Well, I'm almost to season seven.

One episode that didn't make sense was the one where the girl dies and is turned into an alien but she escapes in a shuttle that manages to catch up to voyager after having knocked decades off of it's journey.

How the hell are we to believe that the little shuttle was able to catch up or even know where USS Voygare was at?!?! What a bunch of shit.

A fair point. Was she always in the shuttle, though? Maybe she stowed away on bigger ships that were much faster? They are one heck of an advanced bunch of dudes if they can convert the dead. They probably have sophisticated scanning methods.

**grabs bunch of straws**

well, remember, that her body was drifting when the kobali found her in their ship. they never mention where the kobali homeworld is/was. for all we know the ship that found her could've been an exploration vessel and brought her body back to the kolbali homeworld. she had been assimilated into their life and culture for at least a year before she decided to flee. so for all we know the world that ensign ballard left might have been actually not that far out of the way.
