Thanks, my friend! :)

Many states away ILM is from me.

Bottom shot: Inspired by my fav (now iconic) shot from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (and also by Robert Wilde's awesome take of the same scene last year). The composition's title is taken from the John Masefield poem, Sea-Fever, extracted from the famous line; All I ask is a tail ship, and a star to steer her by. of which Kirk quotes upon seeing the ENTERPRISE in front of the Moon while on approach in the shuttlecraft with Spock, McCoy, and Uhura (piloting).

Hope you enjoy it. :)

Had Abrams done this, I would have enjoyed the movie far more.  You do good work.

Ay, deg? Could you make those pics a bit larger, like 600 x 336...

:)

Yep, just click on the thumbnails, my friend, and they will enlarge, eh. ;)

Indeed I did, TaoTrek.

As to the second Q, I do not know the answer to that. I wish, eh. :)

Click on it, T...they're quite large.

Best thing is, deg's detail holds up even when enlarged.

:logical:

Thanks for the back up there, my friend, and glad you appreciate the level of my work. Makes it all the more worthwhile to do, eh. :)

NICE!!!

I've been a student of the Tao Te Ching for only 2 years, so I'm still new to the game.

J.J. Abrams REALLY needs to hire you. I loved the new movie and even I think the NuEnterprise just looks rediculous.

deg, I saw your artwork for the inside of the shuttlecraft on your page and it looks fantastic.  Any plans to do a bridge interior?  I think that would be awesome.  Keep up the good work I love your interpretation of the Enterprise.
