Had this crazy idea... Basically, you can choose a name for a runabout. What would it be called?

*bearing in mind that they're all after Earth rivers. But apart from that, I reckon anything goes. It doesn't even have to be one that anybody else here has even heard of.*



Mine would be the Murrumbidgee. That's a river in New South Wales.
(say that five times fast...)

I just thought up another "rule". Tell us where the river is, geographically. Because that's interesting and learning something.

It runs through Philadelphia, it's known for it's rowing competitions.

There's a river in Tassie called the Styx, but I get the feeling that naming a runabout Styx is just asking for trouble. Kind of like when a guy called Ensign De'Ath first dons a red shirt.

USS Flat Rock

How about the USS Septic Tank.  I could see someone from another country who doesn't speak English very well.  It sounds like a cool name if you didn't know what a spetic tank was.

The USS Ocoee (pronounced "Oh-Coe-E")

It's the best river in the south (located in Tennessee) to go white water rafting!!!
