you have the basis for an excellent CD collection.

one of my fav bands, if not favorite overall.

up until the last 10 years they were a very underrated band.

surprisingly, i'm surprised that so many sci-fi fans aren't into synth-based music more. other than you, a best friend of mine, and myself just about every sci-fi fan i know is more into hard rock/heavy metal. i really i'm over-generalizing but that's b/c that's been based on my experience.

This is really the "Dark Ages". Everyone else has moved on to other ares of intererst, what's your problem? Have they? ? Then why are they still here, posting about a series which ended 8 years ago? Nobody here is on a crusade to change the past.

I had a hobby once too. It was called Star Trek Voyager!

Now I prefer to watch NCIS.

They haven't ruined that one yet.

I'm not that fond of Depeche Mode.

I prefer Iron Maiden.

I listen to jazz.

the only time i like jazz is when i'm on drums playing it.

I like synth-based music. I just didn't know that's what it was called! My favorite is still dance. My favorite song out right how is Hush Hush, by the ##### Cat Dolls, the dance version, of course!

well, there's several different types of synth-based music.  it ranges from gothic to dark wave to synth-pop to new age.  i just made a huge generalization to mean any music whose lead instrumentation is the synth/sampler.
