Star Trek

I have some questions regarding The Oficial Star Trek Convetion in Las Vegas 2010. I'm thinking about going next year like I did this year. I was wanting to know about ticket prices, guest lists etc. I went to the creation site and noticed they are selling the Gold package deal. What I was wanting to know is does anybody know how soon do they update thier site after the convetion ends? What I mean is when do they list thier ticket packages prices and guest list for the next year convetion? I noticed they have the Gold ticket package up to buy right now, but when will they have the Captain's Chair, Pefered Weekend etc up to buy? I was thinking of Buying the Captain's Chair package for the next year, but I just want to know how much it is and what does it include? I'm also curious to know when will they have the guest list up? I really like to go next year because I had so much fun this time as it was my first time. It's just before I make desion, I want to know what Star Trek actors is gonna be there. I know for sure if some of the ones that was here this year, is there next year I'll go. So if anybody can answer my question, it would be appeciated. Or do you think I should just call them and ask them?

Captain's Chair tickets will go on sale sometime between January and March. Creation will wait until the Gold tickets have sold out. Based on last year's price and the fact that they raised the Gold ticket price, I think that Captain's Chairs will be around $379. With the Captain's Chair tickets, you get everything that Gold gets minus the autographs. Also, the Captain's Chair party is on Friday night.

As for the actor announcements, Creation does their best to have one or two BIG names (i.e. Shatner, Nimoy, Stewart) signed by Christmas. The rest of the attending actors will be added as soon as they sign their contract.

Okay, thank you. I just was curious what the Captain's Chair ticket includes. I like to get the Gold package but its kind of expensive, so if I can't get that, I might go for the Captian's Chair. I think if I put money back for that I'll get those tickets. I think I can aford $379 compare to $699, and if I have to buy autograph tickets separate, that will be fine. I just only want to get autographs from the ones I really want to meet. And thank you for letting me know about the guest list, that gives me more of idea who will be there. I know for sure if Shatner, Nimoy is there again I'll go. I would love to meet them again as I already did this time. I would'nt even mind of meeting Stewart, I like him too. I love TOS and TNG, so I love meeting actors from those shows! Anyways, thanks for the information, it gives me more of an idea of who and what gonna happen there.

You really need a zoom camera for anywhere you sit in the auditorium.  And like I posted in another thread, anyone purchasing Gold Tickets AFTER the 2009 convention, will be placed behind the Gold ticket holders who re-upped at the convention.  So basically the first couple of rows are unavailable each year.

I so want to go to the 2010 convention and meet other ST.com members there!
