I personally LOVED...and I mean absolutely LOVED the MU episodes of DS9! I haven't watched the MU episode of ENT because I stopped watching after the end of season 1 although I did watch the pilot of season 2 at a later time and disliked how it went. But back on topic, I don't know why VOY and TNG didn't have any MU episode.

Ive loved all the MU episodes. TNG MU...that would have been awesome to see I must admit.
I do have an obvious reason as to why there was never a MU episode of Voyager.
Captain Janeway (or whoever) would have simply used the Caretaker Array to return them to the Alpha Quadrant....after leaving a very high yield explosive device on a timer to blast it to smithereens.

| Quote (SaturnsRings @ Aug. 17 2009, 6:55 pm) | | I agree that DS9's take on the Mirror Universe was not that good. Other than the original series I have to admit that the double Mirror Darkly episode from Enterprise was very good..one of their best. |
The only bad Mirror universe ep from DS9 was the "Emperor's New Cloak" and its only bad because it came across as being too much of a comedy IMO,.

That's easy: USS Enterprise D and USS Voyager never existed in the mirror universe. So making the mirror of that is kinda stupid.

One small problem. That wasn't Mirror Universe. Don't know why the URL says "Jadzia Kira Kiss" either. That's not Kira!!

Voyager was too busy screwing up the Borg to have any mirror universe stories.

To be honest ENT MU episode is pretty good, I don't like it, but I've never been a big fan of the MU. Though I think you should try ENT again, keep going, I really like the episode Carbon Creek in 2nd season. Keep going, though the 3rd season is almost all about one thing, but still not to bad. and 4th trys to answer a lot of questions, Vulcans, Klingons, it's not to bad. Watch it. Just so that you've at least seen every Star Trek episode once.

If you remember there was a novelization of a TNG MU story that had Jack Crusher alive & onboard the Enterprise D. So in someway the Enterprise D did exist.

Well, writers probably hadn't thought of it at the time of TNG. Plus it would have probably been difficult to incorporate it into a Voyager episode (although it wouldn't have taken much of an imagination... -crew discovers wormhole -Tuvok determines it leads to Alpha Quadrant -Voyager enters wormhole -crew later realizes that they're in the Alpha Quadrant but in the MU -comes across MU version of B'Elanna Torres - an Alliance captain shunned by most of her peers because of her half-human heritage; she wants to win favor with the Regent by capturing Voyager and presenting it to him -dialogue here -action there -dialogue here -with the help of Smiley and his Defiant, crew manages a daring escape back through the wormhole with Captain Torres in pursuit -crew seals up wormhole and leaves Torres' ship handicapped and adrift in our universe thus leaving room for her to make future appearances -the end ...see, wasn't that hard). Actually though, that's not a bad outline if I may say so. Any way, I liked the MU eps. Ent's was pretty good except that I didn't care for the fact that they were able to get away with the Defiant. It sort of opens up continuity issues. I mean, if they had the Defiant in that time, then you figure the Empire would have been 100 years more advanced then they were in the TOS episode. But I've never been one to bicker about the little details.

*SPOILERS PERHAPS*
I think in the books they had the Caretaker send Kes and Neelix to the Alpha Q. instead. Didn't end up leading to the best possible storyline IMO but it was an interesting take on how it might happen in an Alternate Universe.
The other trouble is with Voyager in MU, who is to say that the differences (presumably the consequences of some different action which led to the Empire) would have been felt much at all in the MU Delta Quadrant. Although it is true that Janeway and her crew ~or otherwise~ would have been very different.
But a more self-serving Janeway probably would have said "AH who cares about these pathetic bloody Ocampa?" after the Caretaker died, which may yet have led to no story. Or possibly she / Voyager might have attempted to conquer their planet.
Okay the last possibility might have led to something interesting.
