That was supposed to be psylocke? I've watched the movie at least three times, and never caught that. Dude! the purple hair didnt give it away? Actually I was surprised we didnt see a Green haired Polaris or a Havok nod, with the movie having included Multiple Man....and that they also pulled the "bit part" off with Jubilee in this movie as well

I still don't know who all those Mutants were supposed to be... I've watched that movie maybe 10 times and I own it... But there are just too many...

They call Jubilee by name in the 2nd movie...

Actually according to Ratner there's a debate over whether she really is Psylocke or not.  Ratner says she's not while the the film credits says she is.

Seeing as how she never displayed any telepathic ability and instead came morphing out of a wall, I'm going with "not her".

I wont speculate on what is actually a canonical deciding factor as to either screen sequence or credits, all I'm saying is that THIS character was listed in the credits as such. I dont remember specifically as I havent watched in a while, but did she morph in alone or with other people?

If with other people, coming in through a wall could be attributed to one of them.....unless of course her telekinetic ability extends to the molecular level which essentially and technically would allow her the ability to pass through a wall.

The "morphing" through the wall ability was a nod towards her Shadow Phasing ability she had for a short time in the comics. She was nearly killed by Sabretooth when he escaped the mansion and Wolverine and Archangel revived her using the Crimson Dawn. This then gave her, the ability to transport distances through shadows.

With Psylocke's subsequent death and resurrection (yet again) this has since been forgotten about.

It should also be noted that Claremont's novel adaptation also has the girl as Psylocke in the Omega gang. In the book, Psylocke survived Phoenix's attack which disintegrated the others...which isn't surprising as Psylocke was one of Claremont's pet female characters.

Hero to some but never a Superhero. I still maintain you MUST have superpowers to be a superhero which is why Batman is not a true superhero IMO.
