Personally, I like Treshold. Not for the story, it was just full of hilarious one liners.
1)"PEPPERONI! God I could use a pepperoni pizza with Kivarian olives right now, I'm starving!!!" Tom
2)"The female, obviously." Tuvok
3)"I've thought about having children, but not with you." Kathryn
4)"Kiss me." Tom to Kes

I agree...because when in really comes down to it Brannon Braga is an excellent writer... even if Threshold was a bit "lacking.."

Honestly, I think most people dislike it for two reasons... Our evolution looked like like devolution... AND he blew warp 10 for us. (drat.)

! hate to tell you this mate but your list is total garbage! I Like almost everyone of those episodes on that list. I will give you The Way To Eden (that sucked) but I cannot believe you have the Borg episode of Enterprise on that list! That is 1 of my all time favourites. I hate to think what you like! Here try these:

Frame Of Mind (TNG)

The Outcast (TNG)

Take me To The Holosuite (DS9)

Far Beyond The Stars (DS9)

Unforgettable (VOY) so crap I switched of.

The Fighter (VOY) Never watched it

Fair haven (VOY) switched it off

Spirit Folk (VOY) cant believe they made a follow up.

Virtuoso (VOY)

Tsunkatse (VOY) never watched

Most of season 7 of voyager

And the worst episode EVER in the history of ST and the one that put me of Voyager for ages NON SEQUITER.

How can you miss these out.

I totally disagree with your list. And in my opinion Virtuoso was an exceptional episode. What a cool concept.

Kludge thank you for the laugh!

Listen Virtuosso has 1 of the most rdiculous stories I have ever come across in my life! A space faring race who has never herd of music until they come aboard Voyager!!! Do you me a favour! Makes you wonder how many planets they have visited about 2 in there own system!? Either that or NO culture in that part of the Delta Quadrant has music! Or the planets they went to have no sentient life! Tell me how a culture can go so far with out having music! Wouldn't some of their ancestors have banged on a tree trunk or something. I mean even lower primates on Earth know about banging on trees and the ground for communication. I bet you only liked it because the Doctor sung in it. Most stupidest story EVER!That story makes Spock's Brain look like an excellent story.

Then you say you dont like the rest my list! You really like watching crap dont you! I have a (excuse the pun) warpped sense in knowing what is crap and what good. I hate to think what you think is bad! Probably episodes like the Best Of Both Worlds, Sacrifice Of Angels, What You leave Behind, Scorpion, Unimatrix 0, Regeneration, Way Of The Warrior, I bet you hate all those kind of episodes.

NON SEQUITER WORST STORY EVER! SO CRAP IT PUT ME OFF VOYAGER FOR AGES.

Okay... First off, I like Star Trek. Secondly I like Voyager. That being said I understand some episodes are better than others, but... for me very few are complete crap as you say.

These aliens clearly didn't interact with other species. They didn't want to interact with us. They hated us. So yes, believing that a culture can evolve isolated is what this supposes. If you let yourself buy the premise the story is quite enjoyable. Remember, its FICTION.

I cannot think of a single episode that I would refuse to watch.

I have just been to Memory Alpha and checked up on the Qomar. It was not the xenophbic nature of the Qomar I didn't like it was the stupid premis of not having music that was stupid. How can a culture not have music! Even though they cant sing that doesn't mean you cant have music! Does Classical music have words? No. My dad loves an instumental group called the Shadows. No words.

Think about the episode. They had no interest in the federation until the Doctor started singing. It was about a culture with no music not the xenophobic nature of them. If you dont believe me goto memory-alpha and look for yourself.

It seems to me I know more about an episode I watched for 15 mineuts several years ago than you do.

You say you like Star Trek. I live and breathe Star Trek. I know episodes of The Origional Series and TNG so well that I can tell you the episode in about 2 seconds if I get a good scene. And I can tell from the synopsis banner on Sky digital what episode it is and wheather it is worth watching.

Also "there is no such thing as a crap ST episode"!. Listen as much as I love it and ploughed through almost every episode I can give you about 60 episodes I would never watch again.

Shrug. I disagree, but it matters little.

In fact I might just have to watch it again as I love his version of Rondine al nido.

The City On The Edge of Forever
I know, I know, everybody but me loooooooves it.
I wanted and still want spacestuff.
Put it on a spaceship or station or give it spacestuff gadgets and I would looooove it too.

I was all set to complain about how you put Where No Man Has Gone Before on your list, which was a classic, but to put COTEOF on your list... ?Go away. ?You're no longer welcome here.

Now I am embarrassed. And confused. And feeling attacked. For my sharing of my personal experience with these episodes. Didn't you notice I never said my experience was the correct experience? Didn't you see I was not implying that differing experiences were wrong? Didn't you see I was conversing, in no way confronting? Can my personal experiencing of what I have previously enjoyed in science-fiction StarTrek be so grievious? Could you not have shown me how you experienced those episodes, sharing with me the finer thoughts I may have overlooked? Could not your experiencies have given me new eyes to see with if I re-viewed the episodes? Could not your thoughts have inspired me?

Did you have to just tell me I was offensive and I should go away? Is my voice to be discarded simply because it sings a different song? Am I less valuable in your eyes because I differ from you on something so small as personal science-fiction choices?

And sadly, I will, as you said, go away.

go away?
you're no longer welcome here?

a joke?

curious that

this is the stuff of inhumanity
the act of demeaning another
to reject
to invalidate

irrelevent to needing thicker skin

to come to join with others
alluding to star trek
as something
important

ask a question

have a perfectly valid
non directed
personal response

demean
reject
the poster

call it his fault
he needs to be tougher?

do i have this straight?
a differing perspective
that meets with disapproval
has verbal abuse
as an acceptable response?

and it's the posters'
responsiblilty to
toughen up?

not unlike the
violent parent
who tells the
child he brought
it on himself

un huh
