Actually after Seeing Star Trek Of Gods and men on my 80" TV. That's what Trek XI should have been.

ST: OFAM

Yes it is a fan film, it stars various actors from the TV series and films!

I voted for "Nemesis."

Everything could always be better or different, and everyone's tastes vary widely. I think "Nemesis" is just fine.

That's how I feel about NEM. It does need a director's cut edition though, some of those deleted scenes from the CE should be put in the film. It would make the film better I think.

I voted NEMESIS, but not hacked to bits and someone else as Shinzon. jaksajak suggested James Marsters and I couldn't agree more.

Maybe 10 to 20 minutes longer.

Patrick Stewart should have played Shinzon, who should have been the same age as Picard (through RNA resequencing).

I agree, I think there were character or plot / backstory elements that were clearly cut that would have made a significant difference in this film.

It's not bad as it is...but there is definitely room for improvement.

I wish it had performed better critically and at the box office. It's sad that the TNG crew went out on such a low note in the eyes of the general public. TNG was a great show.

Too true.

I'd drop the whole clone idea in GEN. ¿Construct a Romulan coup over the whole Hobus supernova thing, led by Nero, and put Leonard Nimoy as Spock in the thick of it. ¿

At the end, Spock goes back in time, like Countdown, and then you have ST XI.

Basically, ditch Shinzon. ¿He was a loser as a villain and was incredibly contrived, just generally a bad idea.  And don't kill Data, kill Picard instead.  At the end, flash forward years in the future, one or two hundred years and have Data telling some academy grads about the last mission of Jean Luc Picard.
