all i have found are various blogs that quote this artcle. ¿Of course rationing occurs even here but here it is more of a price barrier than wait list. ¿And both countries have non medical personnel check over the doctors decision. (I still have figured out why switching from private bureaucrats to public bureaucrats will be an improvement i mean you are still dealing with bureaucrats)

You do realize the WSJ lost all it's credibility after Rupurt Murdoch bought it, right?

says you.  Why should I mistrusts a source of information because you drop some random name who probably happens to disagree with you?

Actually, the problem isn't that Murdoch "disagrees" with me, the problem is that Murdoch has a very causual relationship with the truth, which is why he uses his TV stations and newspapers to lie.

Nearly everyone in journalism was horrified at the prospect of Murdoch getting control of the WSJ, and rightfully so. Now what was the most respected name in economic reporting has become just another house organ in the Murdoch propaganda machine.

Or do you really think the guy who brought us "American Idol" and Bill O'Reilly is going to bring us reliable economic reporting?

I don't really see why not as he doesn't work there he just owns it. its not as if he edits the reports himself.

But how exactly do American idol and Bill O'reily prove anything about how the WSJ would be run.  He runs the parent company.  My hometown newspaper is owned by the New York times but as far as I can tell is completely independent in its operation.

Or so you think...

Look, ask yourself why Murdoch would even WANT the Wall Street Journal? Because the BRAND NAME gives the views credibility, even if what is reported is complete hooey...

Nobody buys a newspaper these days to make money. Newspapers are money losers.

But the only proof you have that it is hooey is the fact you don't like the owner?

Well, I remember when this fool breifly owned the Chicago Sun-Times... Most of the staff quit in disgust, and he made it into a laughingstock before, thankfully, he finally sold it...

Which means nothing to me.  How do you know the staff quit in disgust? define laughingstock and it what way the newspaper became one.  How can I believe anything you say kosh when i know you change positions based on what promise to damage the people who screwed you more.

So what you are telling me is that you are profoundly ignorant and incapable of doing your own research.

Rupert Murdoch bought the Chicago Sun Times in 1984. Mike Royko, the paper's pulizter prize winning columnist, quit and went to the Tribune. So did most of the rest of the staff.  It essentially copied the style of the New York Post, and circulation numbers plummeted.

Here's something from a reporter who reflected on the disaster.
