Actually, rebooting TNG, a la BSG, sounds like an interesting idea. It kind of follows the initial model, with the original cast in the films and TNG on TV. It would spin off this new universe/timeline in a natural way, so that could be used for marketing and stories.
I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea at all. They might be considering it, in light of the new film and Moore's BSG.

How about coming up with something original instead instead of following in BSG's footsteps?

Y'know the other thing that might be appealing about a reboot of TNG? You could get rid of some of the conventions on that show that, at least for some fans and even the writers, were seen as detrimental. Kind of like how TNG got rid of the few things that the original didn't do right, like having both the captain and first officer in the landing party.
For example, no shrink on the bridge, no kids on the starship, conflict and differing views between the characters (make them imperfect), and a lot less techobabble and fake, magic, Brannon Braga science.
It could potentially be as cool as the new BSG was. Heck, maybe get Ron Moore or one of his BSG alumni to run it.

BSG sucked. Too melodramatic. Is that what you want Star trek to become? Extremely dark and grim? What kind of Trek fan are you?

The difference is DS9 lightened up once in awhile. BSG was constantly dark.

Is Trek on TV done then? What's left? A post Nemesis series would have to much technobabble. TOS reboot is on the big screen. The TNG Era is done if people wouldn't like the TNG reboot idea. Maybe an Abrams TOS Trek Universe TV Series? Or another Prequel series? Star Trek: The Romulan Wars but that could be like the Dominion War again.

How would you know a post-Nemesis series would include technobabble?

How about the advances Starfleet would make in 20 to 50 years after Nemesis. Or if it was 5 years after Nemesis Starfleet would have Voyager tech and Nero's tech after the Kelvin's Shuttle's scanned it. You saw how the 1701 was upgraded.

I think a TNG television series would be good. Dosen't have to be ala BSG, though. Base it on the new movie or (this is just an idea I had, don't crucify me), a show based on a TNG crew trapped in the Mirror Universe. I know it sounds a little "Voyager-istic", but if done well, I think it could go a few seasons.

Mirror Universe is only liked by Trek Fans and maybe not by all of them.

That doesn't mean the show would have to include technobabble. Technobabble is not a requirement.
