Look at what I found at imdb.com here

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1408101/

The Enterprise crew picks up an unexplained sensor reading near the center of the galaxy. They are not the only ones to pick up the reading. Set 3 years since the last movie join our new crew in a race that will form new alliances and reintroduce some of Star Trek's greatest foes in an adventure that promises to forever change our galaxy.

It is going to be open season on the movies board again. Could this relate to the hint we heard at comic con?

Look at these plot keywords.

IMDB is known for having fallacious crap.

That is true. I remember there was a synopsis about Trek 11 being about the Romulan War script that never came to be. But still how did that info get there?

They don't even have a script.  IMDB stuff is usually user submitted.

Maybe so. But to play devil's advocate how do we know for sure they don't have a script done? Just because they say so. I mean they also couldn't give a straight clear answer as to whether Trek 11 was set in an alternate timeline or alternate universe. I have my answer on that on based on facts but that is another topic.

Is it possible we are going to get another trek to the center of the galaxy plot? There must be a warp conduit or something floating around Federation space because they seem to make it to the center of the galaxy pretty quickly in Trek when it is at least 20,000 light years away.

Oh yes I read this. But that is only Zoe's opinion that the script is half done. She is just surmising that a script is half done. That info does seem to go along with one of their ideas about the villain being nature itself. Although it is all still circumstantial evidence though.

Dang it I hope this comes into play now because my appetite is wet again. I am now thinking summer of 2011 at the earliest. I can't wait another 2 years. Uh Oh I am jonesing again. (Starts Shaking) I need a quick fan fiction fix now.

Well I am going to spend the next few hours scouring the internet for other sources that can back this up or not. Google and Ask prepare for a workout.

imdb is user edited you can't trust it. The Doctor Who season 27, 28 and 29 finales were all edited to say Davros was making an appearance. He didn't appear in any.

If they've got a secret script why would they put the info on imdb?

Oh I agree good point. I am just being a good Startrek.com user and reporting what I saw. That info on imdb is not exactly all that revealing either. That is what has me curious. You would think the average user who was gonna put some bs up there would be a little more detailed.

Don't they screen those things anyway?

Not that I know of.

Yet it would be scary to see a remake of TFF

I wonder what the strange sensor reading could even be? How do we know it is not in reference to WHMHGB? The plot summary is very vague but appetite wetting. And about the race and the keywords. Romulan, Orion, and Klingon? Is it going to be a four team race in space like speed racer? LOL

I hope the Romulans and Klingons are ridgeless in this movie too.

We saw the changed transition to warp. We saw pulsed weapons instead of beam weapons. Now, the only way to time travel is Red Matter:
Quote
"I don't think we ever need to talk about time travel again," Orci explained, saying that Leonard Nimoy and other "original universe" cast members will likely be unnecessary from here on out. "In fact, in the end of the movie, the device that allows time travel is destroyed. So we're stuck with this universe we're in now."

"Now we're in this new world," Kurtzman agreed. "And we're just gonna have to live through the unpredictable future."

So, it seems slingshots around stars and rifts are no longer part of Trek. This also cuts out any chance of a reset.

With all of the complaints of Abrams' production, ticket sails and gross is pretty much what they seem to be going by. I doubt this will change. Braga didn't bother paying attention to these boards and we know Abrams opinion of existing fans and previous Trek.

True enough, yet any ones opinion can change. JJ claims that he now loves Star Trek..........
