I loved when the enterprise got between the Andorians and the Vulcans to prevent a war. ¿

THAT was after Tucker & Soval became buddies--very unlikely, Tucker had called him a sonofabit@h so many times!

And it was Tucker's brinksmanship that put Enterprise smack in the middle of the battle. Sort of a symbolic moment; he told Soval he was trying to do what he thought Archer would've done.

Archer: To boldly go where no man has gone before.

Enterprise Ending - the last 38 seconds

Shouldn't Archer have said:

"To boldly go where no man.... where no one.... has gone before"- mirroring Kirk's final voiceover speech at the end of TUC

Why should one of the world's greatest and most recognizable tag lines be sacrificed for "political correctness".

Indeed, if ENT was supposed to be the lead in to TOS, then the line should have stood as originally written.

:logical:

Agreed - who cares about where no man has gone before.  I am a woman and I take that line as "man" being generic for HUMAN?

I don't care WHO you are, both of you are derailing a topic for members who have had nothing to do with your beefs or trolling.

Lots of greatest moments, of course, many come to mind. Today I feel like singling out these two:
1) The "reset" awakening of Archer in Twilight
2) Archer and T'Pol's final scene in TATV

I very much like these moments of Home and Twilight. The end with Archer and T'pol in These Are The Voyages is also very nice. Another greatest moment for me is Carbon Creek.

When Reed finally decides his loyalties lie with Archer and his crew, instead of the "secret police," or whomever they were. I never really cared for Reed, he seemd rather superfluous, actually. Placing him in that Catch22 and to have him be so demonized because of it, was very effective. I liked his vindication, at the end, when he tells the guy he only answers to Archer, now. But Archer letting him out of the brig JUST to watch Trip climb a rope almost derailed that, for me. But, not quite ...

It will change tomorrow, however, for now

Greatest Archer moment: When he is in the exploding Xindi weapon, having just disabled it.

Greatest T'Pol moment: When she takes Trip's hand after Elizabeth dies.

Greateat Trip moment: When he comes to terms with his sister's death.

Greatest Phlox moment: When he tells the captain "I'll be ready" for the possibly casulaties from the raid on the alien vessel.

Greatest Malcolm moment: Letting down his guard after he and Trip are rescued from the shuttle pod.

Greatest Hoshi moment: Commanding Enterprise on the Mars rescue mission.

Greatest Travis moment: Guiding, and saving, Trip and Malcolm in the underground cave.
