Cool! I can't wait for it to come out on dvd and blu ray! I really love this movie, seen it 6 times! I would like to get both blu ray and regular. I get the blu ray to watch at home on my PS3 and regular to watch on my laptop when I go on vactions and so on. I'm getting anxious for this movie to come out on dvd and blu ray. Its gonna be so hard to wait for it to be released. I know for sure once it comes out, I will watch like crazy! I did that with Titantic, Cars, Pocahontas, Anastaisa, Spider Man, just to name a few movies I went bonkers for.

the blu ray version includes a digital copy.

COOL :)

In the Trekmovie.com link i've provided (Trekmovie) there is no listing of the deleted scenes in the Blu-ray version. Unless i keep missing it.

But hey, if they're there, then FANTASTIC :D

Well what's what:

"Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary ¿ See details above."

Is ;)

Details on the TNG movie set are on Trekmovie.com

Sa shame... no extended cut for NEMESIS... again a wasted opportunity Paramount... ?:eyesroll:

Agreed... although if it were up to me I would've included those deleted scenes and trimmed maybe 30% off that final space battle scene.

No....!  The Space Battle was fantastic! I loved how the E-E performed in that one... loved it's progression down to the crash. It's the best and most detailed Ship to Ship Spacebattle in Sci-Fi history.

The crash was decent, despite the ships moving like one man fighters during the rest of the battle scene, then for some reason moving like bloated whales just before the crash.

I would've completely taken out the part where Troi telepathically detects the Viceroy, where all Shinzon needed to do was move the ship somewhere else.

I agree this would probably be the most detailed ship to ship battle but to me its not really a good thing.

I agree with this. The space battle, which was about 30 minutes long IIRC, was the greatest space fight in Trek so far. I love the battles in TWOK and TUC, but they never had the CGI technology they had in NEM to really show a great battle in space.

I felt ST XI space battles used too much shaky cam and too many quick cuts to be enjoyable. I couldn't see what was going on in that film. The opening however was very good. All modern films seem to be going this route sadly.

What I missed in TREK XI was Nero fighting the Federation ships above Vulcan...

I mean here they have a 150 million dollar movie... and again they just show the aftermath?

It would have added drama showing the various crews fighting a heroic battle.

Cool, thank you.Can you play the ditgtal copy on your comptuer? I'm curious because I know when I bought Marley & Me on  blu ray it came with a ditgtial copy too. I tryed to play it on my laptop and it would'nt play. It said it had to be conceted to  internet. I take my laptop with me when I go trips, and take couple movies with me so I can watch them on my laptop.I tryed to play the ditgtal copy of Marly and Me on my laptop it didn't play at all.I don't have wireless internet on my laptop when I leave my home. So I have to  go where I can get internet when Im away from home. That's why I'm curious if I will have the same problem when I buy Star Trek on blu ray with ditagtal copy. I just want to know if you have to be conected with the internet in order for the ditgtal copy to play? I still will buy Star Trek on blu ray,and buy regular dvd of it too if the ditgtal copy wont' work. The ditgtial  copy is just a regular dvd right?

No... it is a digital copy. Pretty much something like an official DivX rip of the movie, to prevent piracy in that department.

You can play it on your computer, Ipod or whatever, but it won't play on a regular DVD player.

you just need to connect to the internet to "activate" the digital copy.  after that you don't need a connection.
