I'm sorry if someone has done this poll before, but I didn't see one anywhere.

Anyway, I can't decide who my favorite is because a lot of these characters rank high on my list of all-time favorites. It's too difficult to choose for me.

However, McCoy, Bashir and the Doctor all tie for my favorite...I think. ¿Next is Crusher, then Phlox, then Pulaski.

Which doctor is your favorite?

Cant top ol' Bones, he certainly had quite a lot on his mind and always had quite a few one-liners.

Bones, then Phlox or Bashir, don't care much for the others.

I always got a kick out of The Doctor.  His bedside manner always put a smile on my face.

I thought Chapel was a nurse not a doctor. (Correct me if I'm wrong not much up on TOS characters.)

Anyway....

Julian Bashir is my favourite character in all of Star Trek ever, and of course he is a doctor.... and all the others are Star Trek characters, of course.

So. By that general syllogism, I can't very well be voting for anyone else.
------------

But ok. In order...

1. Bashir (no.1 no one else comes close on the melikey stakes.)
2. EMH
3. McCoy (especially seeing Karl Urban in the movie...! hehe.)
4. Crusher
5. Pulaski
6. Phlox. (i hate leeches -- *super shudder* )

Of course there's always the potential for "insert random minor / secondary characters in between.)

Dr. McCoy because of his interactions with Kirk and Spock.

Dr. Phlox because of his interactions with the crew, but also he's interesting and I like his holistic approach and his Denobulan quirkiness.

Please state the nature of the medical emergency.

I'd sure hate to have treatment for any real medical emergency depend upon whether or not the holo imaging program is operating within prescribed parameters.

Pulaski seemed to be the most professional of the bunch.
Bashir was too self-centered.

I say that mostly because of the frequency with which he uses the word "I", as well as the accent that he places on that word. He considers himself to be "better" than everyone else.

Wasn't she one of the two characters who died in the transporter malfunction early in that movie?

No, she's the one who comes to help Chekov on the bridge when he gets hurt, but then Ilia intervenes.
