Hi,
I am trying to identify an episode. I suspect it is from Voyager but could be Enterprise or Next Generation.
In it the Enterprise is sort of frozen in time. In fact time has slowed down. An attacking force, I think maybe Romulans, have fired upon the ship. The beam is making its way nearer and nearer to the ship.
Some of the crew are outside of this time frame and spend years trying to find a way of restoring the proper time line and stopping the Enterprise being shot. I recall they finally find a way but somebody has to stay behind to do whatever, and he/she will lose that time from their lives, whereas the others will be transported back to real time. I suspect it could be Tuvok from Voyager who stays behind.
I have searched through the episode guides but cant find the exact episode.
Does any body have an idea?
Thanks Sutton

Sounds like you are describing the episode called "Timescape", from the 6th season of The Next Generation.

Thanks for helping but Timescape is not the one. I watched that one just the other day.

Great episode BTW. |
Yes that's the one. SG1 not Star Trek. I'm going to watch it again tonight. It was Teal'c not Tuvok who stayed behind. Thanks to all.

I didn't know. It came into my mind and I just had a vague recollection. I wanted to see the episode again. It was actually SG1 rather Star Trek. The final episode of SG1 it turns out and a good one as Yanks pointed out.

This topic could possibly develop into a new puzzle or game. Identify the episode.
Worf says to Brenna: madam, have you ever considered a career in security? Brenna's response: well if it's anything like baby-sitting then I'm an authority.

Second clue, same episode....
Riker and Pulaski discover clones of themselves developing at the other colony, and Riker vaporizes the clones.

Nope. Third clue, same episode. Picard suggests that the first colony resettle and breed with the second colony in an attempt to combat replicative fading.

I don't know the answer but why does this remind me of Dukat's experience with thorns? Actually my immediate association on reading this was an image of a baby jersey cow.

Ha, ha! Another clue (you'll probably get it now, I don't know how good I am at this game): It's a flashback episode.
