Let's hope they don't fix what isn't broken and continue to show ST. In fact, with some of the crap they show, I believe they should show all the different ST shows throughout the week. Surely their ratings woulndn't suffer.

I sometimes find the very early episodes a little dated, but mostly it doesn't matter, even about the sfx because that's just how star trek is. At least TNG isn't as bad as TOS.

That may be true, but TOS is still a good series.

Last nights episode where Picard/Wesley/Crazy shuttle captain crash landed, and Riker and co were towing the barge full of radioactive waste, can't remember the name, the asteroids they had to tow through. Didn't it seem a bit anti-climactic? I know the real drama was happening with Wesley and Picard, but come on. This asteroid belt was comprised of a dozen or so actual asteroids? And they got through it in 5 seconds? I thought it was a bit ridiculous. Anyone else wonder about this? Must be the smallest asteroid belt in the galaxy.

The episode was called "Final Mission."
