Star Trek SyFy Channel wants new Trek series...

it needs to be somthing new by paramount and about new people starting from the begining of starfleet with worf as there head instructer.

I love Star Trek from then to naw and hope to see much more as time gos on in new movies and series. Star Trek is Star Trek when you see it in blue-ray.

I do not believe so either, Mr. Sinistar, but if a question can be posed, then it should, and I cannot think of anyone who would better answer my question, except perhaps a CBS/Paramount/SyFy official, and I do not know any of those.

I shall have to take your word for it. I do not know much of corporate politics. First it's owned by NBC, then it's CBS... Who cares? Star Trek is Star Trek, and in the end, that is all that is relevant.

There IS going to be a new Star Trek series! It will be called Andromeda and will center around a Starship of the same name!

And Rod Roddenberry wished me a happy birthday! :-)

Star Trek Chronicles

Each week a new era of trek is revisited. TNG, TOS, ENT, VOY, DS9, or new ones about the years between the Phoenix / First Contact and the warp 5 enine... akin to the ENT episode where Mayweather goes home to the SS Horizon.

Star Trek Convoy where freighters and Starfleet escorts traverse dangerous regions of space.

Star Trek Universe (which I've been pitching for a new movie series) could be a TV rotation of trek (like the old Colombo / McCloud / McMillan and Wife TV rotation shows back in the 70's. Yeah, I'm that old.

There is no final frontier in the imagination. Necessity is not necessarily the mother of invention... the imagination is.

i would love to see a new star trek series! I hope Scy Fy or paramount do make on, now with the new movie in 2009 and i believe there is supposed to be another new movie in 2012(correct me if i am wrong), a new series would bring new fans back!
