I take it that this thread is no longer about a spider bite??

It never stays on topic for long when I enter a thread.

True. but it's more fun when you change it.

What happens when you two are caught and tried in the World Court for crimes against humanity?

Not even Jean-Claude van Damme can save you.

;)

Will not happen

Pieter "Crembo" De Crem (minister of defense) will protect our backs. and we by then we'll have occupied The Hague

the reason was:

In 1437, the House of Luxembourg suffered a succession crisis, precipitated by the lack of a male heir to assume the throne, that led to the territory being sold to Philip the Good of Burgundy.

Money over national pride and existence, Gotcha.

I think in Chitty Chutty Bang Bang the duchy that hated kids was Luxembourg.

Has nothing to do with "nation" or "country".
In that age countries were "private" property of kings and nobelmen. If they sold it or gave it away for a marriage, that was seen as normal.

Tomorrow the northern region of Belgium (Flanders) celebrates their national holiday. 11 july 1302

Quote
The uprising originated from the people themselves, without being provoked by a lord (the Flemish count and his most important lords were in French captivity). Only when the uprising became widespread, the count's relatives who still were free rushed in to aid. But in the first place this was a struggle of people against a lord (the French king), not the struggle between two lords

People allready started to raise their flags.
