Uck, sometimes I think there's something in the water back home in Minnesota. What they could have been thinking even giving consideration to a shmuck like Fraken - ol' tin-foil hat himself, is beyond me.

Actually, what was ridiculous was Norm Coleman dragging it out as long as he did. If the man was a gracious loser, he'd probably be considered seriously as a replacement for Palwenty...

Wait a second, after the first count and subsequent recounts Coleman was still in the lead. It was Franken who kept this thing in the courts until he could "find" enough votes to put him over the top.

And only then did Frankenstein want to stop the recounts.

It's like here in Washington with Gregoire. Libs count until they get the "proper" results.

And don't even bring up 2000 because never once during any official recount did Al Gore ever take the lead.

That is utter BS. Franked came out ahead after the first MANDATORY recount. Get your facts straight flap jack.

Preliminary reports on election night had Coleman ahead by over 700 votes; but by November 18, 2008, the official results had Coleman leading by only 215 votes. As the two candidates were separated by less than 0.5 percent, the Secretary of State of Minnesota, Mark Ritchie, authorized the automatic recount stipulated in Minnesota election law. In the recount, ballots and certifying materials were examined by hand, and candidates could file challenges to the legality of ballots or materials for inclusion or exclusion with regard to the recount. On January 5, 2009, the Minnesota State Canvassing Board certified the recounted vote totals, with Franken ahead by 225 votes. On January 6, 2009, Coleman's campaign filed an election contest, which led to a trial before a 3 judge panel. The trial ended on April 7th, when the panel ruled that 351 of 387 disputed absentee ballots were incorrectly rejected and ordered them counted. This count raised Franken's lead to 312 votes.

And republicans wonder why people think they're a bunch of uninformed idiots. How about checking some facts you fool.

Okay, I fukced that one up. That's what I get for passivley listening to the news after the initial stages of the election.

I went back and got back up to speed on that. And yes, it seems as though there were nefarious dealings on behalf of the Franken Campaign.
