The DVDs do have pretty wonderful transfers. "North Star" really looks divine on DVD - much better than on SyFy (still feel like an idiot for typing that).

yeh, I HAVE the DVD's, but like I said, there's something re-assuring about all the play ENT is getting on "SyFy" ( huh! ). The young adults in my life are having a love-fest with ENT nowadays and I'm hot-stuff for having watched it in first-runs and having the DVD's and extras.

Isn't amazing that people who don't know they are supposed to hate ENT - usually end up liking it?

I have all 4 seasons on DVD and I have a program that rips the DVDs into iTouch (iPhone) format. I have all 97 (not 98) episodes ready for my iTouch. I've been watching them in the gym in the morning while on the treadmill or bike. Helps the time go by faster; this morning I watched "Similitude". Sci-Fi is still airing some episodes of Enterprise over the summer. (all times east coast) 07/24/2009 07:00 PM HOME 07/31/2009 07:00 PM DAEDELUS 08/07/2009 07:00 PM IMPULSE 08/14/2009 07:00 PM EXILE 08/21/2009 07:00 PM THE SHIPMENT 08/28/2009 07:00 PM TWILIGHT They did this last years as well, took it off the air for most of the summer. I'm willing to bet by the end of September Enterprise is back on the schedule just like before. Last summer, when Sci Fi temporarily stopped airing Enterprise, all the Enterprise bashers came crawling out from under the woodwork calling Enterprise a failure (again) and how it couldn't even survive on a cable outlet. Once again those boobs were proven wrong.

Enterprise has had a good run on Sci Fi. They must have cycled through the entire series 5 or 6 times by now. Too bad it didn't include new episodes.

I stopped watching Enterprise on Sci-Fi the moment I found out that HDNet was running it...in hi-def, 16:9 perspective and commercial free.
I always thought it was dumb that I had Sci-Fi HD, but Enterprise was still shown in 4:3 and letterboxed. Huh?!
I remember reading something about some contractual or legal mumbo-jumbo about why Sci-Fi isn't allowed to show it in 16:9, but I don't recall what the excuse was.
At any rate, the show looks great on HDNet. If you have the channel, check it out. 1 p.m. & 2 p.m. (10 a.m. and 11 a.m. PST).

Looks like Enterprise will keep airing on Sci Fi through at least September 18. Don't fret.

if he HAD to get his Kirk on, I'm glad it was with such an intelligent woman with a sense of humor. Riann "What about the yellow dots?" Archer "What about them?" "How do we know they don't represent the field? Maybe it's the yellow button." "The blue one's lit." Riann "That's what worries me." Archer "We could debate this all day. Blue or yellow?" Riann "Blue." ...and apparently it was yellow.

I just saw the episode yesterday, "Home." It was quite interesting to see what kind of reaction T'Pol's mother had to Trip. Needless to say, I almost thought that Phlox's head was gonna explode in that one bar scene.

Ahh yeah... Nice to see Broken Bow all over again. However, it seems like Syfy's airing the "broken up" version, which is broken into two episodes, as opposed to the DVD version, which is just one continuous episode that runs for a good hour and a half (or two hours with commercials, which DVDs do NOT do...thank goodness).
