Sci-Fi Channel no longer airing Enterprise?

I know that it may sound weird, but with Sci-Fi Channel making all these changes over the next couple of weeks, it's making me wonder if Star Trek may not even be part of that equation anymore.  I thought that them changing their name to Syfy was weird enough, but they want to cut airing Enterprise starting this week?  Well, guess I'll be buying the DVD set off of Amazon, then.  Who knows?  Maybe all these TNG mini-marathons may be next.  Sad days ahead for the Trekkies that rely on those reruns from Enterprise and TNG on that station.  :(

in about a month they'll have ENT on Friday nights at 7pm. looks like Atlantis is there to stay in the 5p time slot. I like Atlantis, too, but no more daily fixes.
I have the DVD's and still I tune in!

To the best of my knowledge, ENT will return 24 July at 7 p.m. EDT, as always, check your local listings.

But remember, the schedule will probably change in September, when school is back in session, so they may return it on air.

24 July 2009:
7 p.m. (EDT): "Home"

31 July 2009:
7 p.m.: "Daedelus"

7 August 2009:
7 p.m. slot is scheduled for ENT, episode title not listed.

...which is kinda funny, because I found ENT in June of 2008 when I was channel surfing, and the ep was "Terra Nova" (ooh, poor hurt!Malcolm! episode )

...and I pretty much signed up for the duration, until I got the hare-brained notion to write a non-Trek SF script for Dominic and Connor...

It's amazing how many of us "Die Hard Enterprise Fans" found the series in re-runs long after its cancellation (by that retard Les Moonves).

BTW: was that kiss for me? ;)

...no, sorry, all my kisses are for Malcolm/Dominic!!

BTW, my husband and I watched (or tried to, anyway), ENT in first run, but I had just started a new job on an afternoon/evening shift (cust service rep) and had to watch VHS tapes, and when S.3 came around, even when I'd moved to an earlier shift, it was too icky-making for me to stand, but I wasn't working (laid off) by early 2003.

Makes me wonder when we'll be getting our TNG mini-marathons back, or aren't they gonna do those on Mondays anymore?  Of course, that's a topic for the TNG forum, but even so, that was the other series that Sci-Fi was big on.

Monday TNG blocks resume on 13 July 2009. See here:
On-Air Schedule/SciFi.com/13 July 2009

ENT will be aired on Fridays at 7 p.m. EDT; see here:
On-Air Schedule/SciFi.com/24 July 2009
24 July: "Home"
31 July: "Daedelus"

Enterprise is blocked in for Fridays at 7 p.m. in August, but the episodes are not identified, and no information is currently available for September--yet.

Bookmark either of the above schedulebot links; the only glitch is that one has to enter or click on the current date (i.e., it saves the date you have bookmarked).

Sci-Fi Channel has now changed its name to Sy-Fy (meh! ), and the website has been altered to reflect this. No, it's not an improvement.

...it's not a feature, it's a bug! This is the new schedule page:

Schedule/Sy-Fy

As always, check your local listings for times.

Schedule/Sy-Fy/24 July 2009

Schedule/Sy-Fy/31 July 2009

There are links to the foreign Sci-Fi feeds at the bottom of the Schedule page!

Not only did they make the change in their station model, but they cut waaay back on airing Trek on there. ¿Glad I got those DVDs from Amazon, 'cuz I always seem to depend on getting my ENT fix when I come home from work every evening.

At least they're airing SOME Star Trek...there was a point in time where there was NO Star Trek on Sci-Fi at all. Instead we were subjected to countless numbers of shitty B-movies, Crossing Over with John Edwards, Ghost Hunters, Sightings, Scare Tactics, and other pseudo-reality programs.

My prediction will be that SyFy, in its attempts to lose its "geeky" image, will spawn a competitor to start up their own sci-fi based network. SyFy will become to science fiction what MTV is to music today. You heard it here first.
