Worlds are conquered, galaxies destroyed...but a woman is always a woman.

Which seems based on "And a woman is only a woman, but a good Cigar is a Smoke."--Rudyard Kipling, The Betrothed

Kirk (in disguise as Baroner): (About Spock)"What will happen to him?"
Kor: "You are concerned?"
Kirk: "He is my friend."
Kor : "You have a poor choice of friends..." (Kirk strains to reach Spock)
Kor: "You do not like to be pushed... very good. You may be a man I can deal with, Baroner."

Kirk: #### it, Bones, you're a doctor. You know that pain and guilt can't be taken away with a wave of a magic wand. They're the things we carry with us, the things that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. I don't want my pain taken away! I need my pain!

I adore this whole scene, but this interchange in particular:

MCCOY: Does everything have to have a practical use for you? They're nice, soft, and furry, and they make a pleasant sound.
SPOCK: So would an ermine violin, but I see no advantage in having one.

"Spock, will you please sit down!"

That has always been one of my favorite Kirk lines and K/S moments!

STIII- Kirk: "I...have had...enough...of you!"

From The Motion Picture

KIRK: Known? Known what? ...Spock, what should you have known?
SPOCK: This simple feeling ...is beyond V'Ger's comprehension. No meaning, ...no hope, ...and, Jim, no answers. It's asking questions. 'Is this ...all I am? Is there nothing more?'
