As you remember through the years, along with the different crews and the different eras of Starfleet, the uniforms of the crew were different over the years.  Which Starfleet uniforms do you think were the best out of all of them?  Tell us what you like about the uniform you voted for, and if you think you'd look good in it, if you were a member of Starfleet at that time.

I'll start off by personally saying that my favorite uniform would be the one from Enterprise with those blue jumpsuits and those colored shoulder stripes.  Nothing beats the vintage space suit, and having pure ranking systems from those "old days" of Starfleet.  Certainly goes back to the days when Starfleet was looked at as being more of a "deep space military unit" so to speak.

The Original Series, but it had nothing to do with turtlenecks! When Jadzia Dax visited Kirk's Enterprise in Trials and Tribble-ations, she couldn't have said it better:

"...and women wore less"

And then the visiting Doctor Bashir added:

"I think I'm going to like history"

I like the Meyer-era red tunics. These were the most widely influencing uniform in STAR TREK ever...and mysteriously left off the poll...

I kind like the ones from the Voyager/DS9 shows.  Second would have been the Enterprise jumpsuits, was a tough choice.

Worse uniforms were the Nemesis era gray sweaters, those looked both uncomfortable and not very appealing.  Kind of have to wonder what genius came up with that idea.

I like the ENT (NX-01) jumpsuits. Having Pockets makes sense.
But the Marching Band Uniforms from ST II thru GEN are a close second.

Enterprise, definitely. They made sense and seemed most real. Also, liked the different colored striping.

Hated the uniforms from ST:TMP.  (Actually, didn't like much about that movie.)

As a puberty bound boy in the '70s I was always, and still am, fond of the TOS female crew mini-skirt uniforms and boots. ;)

I like the TNG/TOS ones, especially from TNG, since the rank dots are up to 4 on a ship, not 2 1/2, which was really weird, and the colors look best on people. Accept, I don't quite get the color correlation on it, i.e. Geordi had a red shirt at first, but the chief engineer has a yellow one, and Piccard and Riker had red, etc.

Yeah, from what I can tell, the TNG uniform colors depended on where you were stationed, iirc. ¿If I remember correctly, I believe there was an episode where Wes Crusher was made a real ensign and wore a red uniform, it was aired recently on Sci-Fi. ¿I'm trying to remember the name of that episode. ¿I believe that was the one where Deanna Troi and her mother were held hostage, was that the one?  IIRC, Wes normally wears that grey uniform, since he was only a cadet in training at first, and only an "acting" ensign.

Yeah, I know that one, I watched it the other day. Now I'm re-watching season 1 this week. Do they ever show his dress uniform as acting ensign? Once, Piccard told Wesley to get in his dress uniform, but they didn't show it. I have seasons 1-4 on DVD, and about 14 episodes on VHS from the other 3.

My favorite are the current TNG/DS9/VOY uniforms that first debuted in First Contact. Black jumpsuit, grey shoulders, red/blue/gold undershirts.
