That double post phenomenon has happened before when someone clicks the "Add Reply" button and gets an Error message and then clicks the "Add Reply" button again. Sometimes if the Error message appears after the first click and you simply just refresh the page, then your reply is posted, but not always. The last time I tried that approach my post got lost! There must be a bug in the system somewhere. Maybe Chief Miles O'Brien could fix it!

I would say that Janeway handled them the best, with the other three tieing for second.

Well, if all the other Starship commanders met the Borg, and Kirk didn't, that means they feared Kirk - for good reason. So I would say Kirk

Well...Picard wouldn't have met the Borg either, except that Q threw them into that particular situation- Guinan even says that they would only have come far enough in the future where they would be able to have dealings otherwise. So really, Kirk doesn't count in this case since he didn't have dealings with them. Picard did the best, with Janeway coming in close second.

archer and janeway. Archer because he has no experience (in records) or anything when he first fought the borg. Janeway has picards' files to look at.

When the error message occurs, click the preview post button to see if your post went through. If it did, you can click in a link to go to another topic or click add reply button if your post did not go through. Hope this helps. ¿:)

Now as far as dealing with the Borg, I would have to say Riker. He had the best plan to defeat the Borg and save Captain Picard. ¿:logical:

Kirk.  The Borg were so afraid of him that they didn't even show up.

does janeway's batmobile armor from the future count as cheating?

in any event, the borg in Voyager were completely nerfed, there's not really a comparison

They kept a wide berth around Kirk.

Ah yes, I did watch the Archer-Borg episode of Enterprise, it was certainly a sight of an episode.  Certainly got my blood pumping watching that battle.  Was that last week that Sci-Fi re-aired that one?

Janeway did the best.  She liberated 7 of 9, she succesfully went throught the heart of their territory, and she defeated them.
