According to the Utility Belt review on TrekMovie (it's for kids only), the Wave II figures have started showing up in Toys R Us in the US...

Do the wave II of the 3 3/4 inch look any better? my local TRU doesn't have them yet, and I haven't seen them in my local comic store's copy of Previews.

I heard they've been delayed til January 2010, but the 12 inch Pike and Sulu are availible now.

Any truth to this?

So I guess we can say goodbye to the Kelvin and the Narada then...

Too bad... I really wanted to get the Playmates Kelvin model.

I heard something about a mini version of the Kelvin, along with the Narada and the Enterprise. Sadly, a 12 inch Kelvin is starting to look unlikely.

I was in a toy store yesterday, and at the back of the store, was all the ST XI stuff from May. The six inch figures were ¿3, and the 3.75 were ¿2 each. Phasers etc. were ¿5, and you can now buy an Enterprise and the Transporter/Bridge playsets for ¿8.50.

It'll be interesting to see will all the unsold merchandise from Wave I affect the availibilty of Wave II.

I'll hazard a guess at yes.

It didn't go so well then, did it?

Too bad, chances for a Kelvin are shrinking.

It is worth noting that the toys for Terminator Salvation and Monsters Vs. Aliens were in the same mess. Those lines where about 50% off marked price, but no where as bad as the ST XI range. I'm guessing that kids just don't want toys from movies anymore.

Unless the toys they are after are from Star Wars and Transformers...

Oh really? The stores where i live have a very hard time keeping the TREK toys(all series and movies) in stock! We have learned that if there is something you want get it when you see it cause it won't be here when you get back.

Consider yourself lucky! This year was the first in about ten years in which I saw Trek toys in mainstream stores here. I think here, where I live, sci-fi isn't really that popular. There used to shelves full of every Doctor Who toy you could imagine up to 2007. Not anymore.

Well they made a terrible mistake with SALVATION. The liscence should have gone to NECA. Their Terminator figures have always been astonishing. I bought the complete T3 set back in 2006.
And SALVATION was really not for kids.

Have to agree about T4. Leave the kiddies at home. I only went in to the toy store to see these Avatar toys... which will probably end up with the ST XI ones...
