Can´t argue with fashion. Who is to tell what will be in fashion 350 years from now? Though I admit: the world won´t be truly enlightened until we manage to grow beyond caring about what others think about our dress and look.

Besides, have we ever heard the men complaining about the short dresses all the ladies in TOS had to wear? Give us girls a break, and let us have some eye candy for a change Why should such considerations be limited to men only?

I don't know. Whenever I see men in this type of outfit, it reminds me of Roman soldiers or Trojan warriors... which is... hot. I see nothing wrong with the idea of a man wearing a short tunic such as this. It's just that in our century, this style is far more dominantly associated with miniskirts on women, so it's hard for most people to wrap their heads around the concept. In time, that idea will probably change as fashions come and go.

Personally, I think these "dresses" look quite manly in an ancient warrior kind of way.

It was awkward but not unrealistic for the future. If a man is secure in his masculinity let him dress in a dress if he wants.

Could you imagine what a Klingon warrior would do/think if they beamed aboard and saw this guy wearnig that?! LOL

If the transvestite had a phaser rifle, it would be something like "Today is...".
