If you animate the whole thing, I'll watch... and I know a few hundred other hardcore fanproduction lovers who'll do the same.

It's a lot of work, but, really, I think it's worth the payoff. ¿This could be bad, but it could also be a tremendous breath of fresh air in a fanprod-verse that sometimes seemed choked by formula Trek adventures.

Keep us posted. ¿If you do decide to animate, the TrekBBS (TrekBBS.com) has a nice forum dedicated to discussion of audio/film/animated fan-made Trek. ¿You may find some useful feedback there.

Good luck!

P.S. I am extremely pleased to meet a fellow troper in this foreign outpost of the Internet. ¿High-five, AGrey!

Maybe you guys dont understand the premise (?).

Here is our Mission Statement. Like I said... if we could do this with real actors we definately would! We just don't have the money of course (Paramount)

:)

MISSION STATEMENT:

What would happen if someday you woke up and realized that you were different? Nobody understood. Nobody could see the magic that it was to be human anymore.

And then it happened. You woke up! You were free from Earthly bounds!

This is the story of a young man and a young girl who stumbled upon the mystery. They struggled to understand it. It affected every part of their lives until they were finally outcasts.

With no one to turn to but themselves they began to learn their gifts. The gift that every human has but has forgotten. Are they teachers? Prophets? Saints? No, not really. Just a young boy and a girl who stumbled upon the mystery.

Finally united, their numbers grew... carefully and quietly. They were not out to claim Power and their hearts still beat like humans.

Adrift in a sea of possibilities they would strike out on their own. Create a new Starfleet where they could watch and help - to ascend and build the ladder for humanity so that one day we might all be free.

My friend anyone willing to tackle the Q continuum in stories deserves some credit. Q stories and how to represent the Q  continuum are the hardest thing to tackle.

The theme music from the trailer sounds like something from the Bill and Ted 27th century scenes. I like the 27th century starfleet shuttlecraft. It gave me a nice futuristic feel. You need to change the communicator design though. By the 28th century starfleet will most likely have changed the design a few times. Make it a blend of the 29th century starfleet logo and 25th century logos we have seen.

So where the heck is the rest of it? When?

New Star Trek Q News!

We've sent out a few um-teen letters to head producers and writers of Star Trek. Who knows if they will reach all of them... but we are getting a spike in L.A. visitors!

In lue of this attention we are getting, we are revamping the website. We've hired some more artists (we're actually a video game studio but we love Star Trek!;) and we're slowly going to remake this site in the style of art you see below - replace the present concept-art with more photo realistic artwork.

The Vulcan Princess with the Child.

It's much more realistic style than the concept art we presently have.

Anyways, lets hope for the best huh?

LETS GO! ¿

Read the Q Continuum by Greg Cox and I, Q by Peter David. Great books on the Q. Also remember they've been around since the birth of the universe, and they'll be there for the death and rebirth, they have always existed, and always will.

Thanks guys. Well said Kdb.

We started with the premise (along the lines of Dune, DS9, and all other great epics which have tried to explain the mystery) that there is an order or instrinsic quality to the universe. It's not that elegant from an engineering perspective - it's organic, home grown.

Whatever is happening and will happen is happening now. It's been building up and up and up. The future, might look like Star Trek! Then it might not. But for many of us, Star Trek holds our deepest hopes and dreams.

Of course, we can't really share the full story since we have some small hopes of making it (right! lol) but we decided to mirror this story to those of our own human experiences and the Power that waits "out there."

In essence the story goes like this: the Q are stuck, they are waiting, bored. They might be Gods but there is something that needs doing. Perhaps it has already been done and this is just the story of *how* it was done. It involves the Q, the Prophets, and a race of people known as the Allorians. The puzzle slowly comes together from Season 1 to Season 7. Humans are the protagonists while we have some very evil antagonists trying to side-track them and bring doooom to everyone involved.

Again tho, reflecting on the present state of human evolution - which the whole story is metaphor - it involves bringing all the pieces together to achieve something wonderful. When all the pieces have come together the Opening - the Gap - will appear; the parapet to the next level. This time, not just one will step through it but Many. And this leads to the next Trek series...

If only we could get the money involved to produce this! Is there some millionaire out there who would be willing to hire our pitiful band of artists? :D Or are there writers or 3d artists here who are "in the groove" willing to help?? ¿ Please write us through our website. We are always eager to brainstorm.

Peace.
