If I ever wore a costume I would want to be Seven-of-nine. Even though I am am a big fan of 'Vulcan' stuff. I guess I would have to crazy-glue the borg stuff to my head...lol I tried to pick Seven-of-nine as my screen name but someone already took that name, so I chose Valdena which means 'maiden' in Vulcan. No I am not cookoo just a fan. :-)

Partied in it quite properly!

But no DIY tips, though... can't really sew. Except that the modern equivalent to the third season material is what tailors refer to as the dull side of "superhero spandex".

Edit: Ah. For those confused, it's Photoshop... LL's wearing it, but it's technically my 'stume. :logical:

VAB, very nice costumes. ¿I'm assuming they were professionally made? :)

Nope, the TOS one I bought at the Star Trek Experience in vegas.

I forget where I bought the DS9 uniform from.

Best tip:  Make sure you spouse knows how to sew!
Gold braid, not necessarily 100% accurate, can be found at probably any fabric store.
I've always used a black turtle neck under a yellow or blue crew neck sweater.  It's practical in that these pieces can be worn any other time during the year (w/o getting wierd looks.  Well, at least nothing wierder than I usually get.)

LTS, I love your pics and the costume!  But who is LL?

SF, some really nice person replied to your question on the other forum.  She said pretty much anything is just fine, and no one will make fun of you.  Good luck if you decide to rework your outfits; I hope they come out great.  I guess I'll try doing my own crappy outfit later this summer and see if I'll be brave enough to wear it. :p

I think you will.

LL = boyfriend. He has been known to post as Logic Lover, but not in a long time.

And thank you! :D

Cool Photos -- Awesome. Your bf's costume looks just like Spock.
In the outside photo, I see plumbego growing & yucca, looks like my neighborhood in South FL. hehe :-)
